For Amrita, design has always been a passion—from personalizing her college hostel room to styling her compact apartment in the UK, and later, transforming the larger homes her family lived in Goa. In 2019, she relocated to Goa with her husband and newborn daughter, facing uncertainty about her career. This pivotal moment led her to embrace her true calling: designing thoughtful, functional spaces that elevate everyday living.

Guided by her mother’s belief that a home should be a sanctuary that welcomes you every time you step in, Amrita founded Un_Ornamented with a clear mission: to design homes that are beautiful, practical, and uniquely personal.
